Corporate drop-out Alan Howard had a life-changing experience when he found himself as one of a handful of westerners to have ever lived with the Kichwa people, an indigenous tribe of hunter-gatherers in the Ecuadorian Amazon who have also won other hearts with their warmth and friendliness.
The experience, in 2017, led him back to the corporate world with a mission, to create a company that could generate enough profits to make a real difference to the life and land of these people.
