The breathtaking beauty of the crypt-keeper wasp (Euderus set) belies its parasitic tendencies to lay eggs in at least seven different wasp species.

Previously, it was known that this parasitoid manipulates the behaviour of the gall wasp (Bassettia pallida), earning it the name Set, after the Egyptian god of war and chaos.
